Residential building permits up in Harrisburg - Carlisle Region

In the Harrisburg - Carlisle region, the number of building permits have increased according to the U.S. Census bureau. 525 residential building permits were issued  from January through June, 2013.  In the same period last year, 375 permits were issued.  Dollar amounts are $103.2 million compared to $77 million for the respective periods.
